Marie Motacki

Marie A. Motacki, 94, of Reading, passed away November 23, 2010 at 3:05 PM in her residence. She was the wife of John S. Motacki who passed away May 27, 1987. Born in Philadelphia on December 31, 1915, she was the daughter of the late James V. and Josephine (Marsella) Marion.

She was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Motacki was employed for 20 years as a sewing machine operator by Arkay Knitting Mills in Reading.

Surviving are a daughter Jeanette M. (Motacki) wife of Glenn A. Potteiger of Muhlenberg Twp.; a granddaughter Christa (Potteiger) wife of Brian LaSalle of East Greenville, Montgomery County; and two great grandchildren, Dominic LaSalle and Julianna LaSalle. She was predeceased by her son Joseph A. Motacki in 1964 and two brothers, Eugene Marion and James Marion.
