Marian Healey

Marian Landis Healey passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:23 pm in Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 16, 1966. She graduated from Wilson High School in West Lawn, Pennsylvania. She obtained her BS degree at Villanova University where she graduated Cum Laude and was a member of Who's Who amongst college students. She obtained her MBA at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She held several positions at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City and Tampa, Florida. She also held positions at several banks in Philadelphia and Metropolitan Washington DC. She progressed to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending in the Wilkes Barre -Scranton area.
She was an active member of the Catholic Church at Villanova. She had a wonderful flair for decorating, and entertaining family and friends. She was very generous of her time, volunteering for numerous projects at local communities, schools and church. She was very passionate about helping other people. She loved her children very much. She also had a small Creative Memories business that grew because she wanted to preserve her own family memories and to help others do the same.
Marian is survived by her two sons, Joshua David Healey and Jacob William Healey; her parents Donna and William Landis of Wyomissing, Pa.; her sister Laura wife of Troy A. Burkert Jr. of Sinking Spring and their children Kathryn A. and Joseph T. Burkert.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 Saint Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:30 am. Reverend Thomas P. Bortz, Celebrant. Interment will be held privately by the family in Union Cemetery, Quakertown, PA. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday from 10:30-11:15 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 301 South 5th Street, Reading, PA 19602 in memory of Marian Landis Healey.
