Maria C. Stubblebine, 74, of Bern Township, passed away peacefully Monday, March 21, 2022 at 9:00 pm at Berks Heim surrounded by her loving family .  She was the wife of the late Gary L. Stubblebine who passed away November 4, 2006.  Born in Reading Mrs. Stubblebine was the daughter of the late Frank J. Comito and Sarah R. (Nardo) Maurer.  She was also preceded in death by her step mother Charlotte Comito.  Mrs. Stubblebine was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and was a telephone operator and then communications coordinator at Community General Hospital until her retirement. She is survived by her daughters Laura L. Lutz, wife of Eric T. Lutz of Bern Township; Lisa M. Santoro, wife of Tim Santoro of Shillington; her grandchildren Ericka M. Lutz; Allisa M. Wooleyhand; Madisyn N. Santoro; her great grandchildren Emma R. Sanders; Arabella M. Benn; Vanessa A. Benn.  Also surviving are her siblings Bonnie L. Novicki, wife of Adam Novicki of Oley; Lisa Jurgensen, wife of Mark Jurgensen of Pottstown; Sheila Nessle, wife of Jon Nessle of TN; Glenn Maurer, husband of Mary Maurer of Blandon; Frank Comito, husband of Donna Comito of NC.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 10:00 am.  Reverend Stephan Isaac will officiate.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Monday, March 28, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692 or the Alzheimer’s Association PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 in memory of Mrs. Maria C.
