Marguerite E. (Ilg) Swierczewski

 Marguerite “Micki” E. Swierczewski, 76, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in Laureldale Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joyce M. (Favinger) and Joseph M. Ilg, Jr. and the stepdaughter of Charles Hoch. She was the loving wife of Dennis M. Swierczewski and together they shared 58 years of marriage. Micki worked as a Supervisor for David Crystal for 20 years before starting her career in the Film Library and Housekeeping at the Reading Hospital for 30+ years. She loved shopping and crafting. She would decorate her home with floral arrangements she made. Micki was always fun to be around and could be found on the dance floor if Motown music was playing. She cherished every moment spent with her family and was the best Nanny to her grandchildren.

 In addition to her husband, Dennis, Micki is survived by her daughters, Sheri L. McIntyre, wife of Raymond of Sinking Spring and Trisha A. Klein, wife of Jeffrey of Sinking Spring, and her grandchildren, Jared McIntyre, Madisyn Klein, and Mason Klein. Micki is predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Ilg, III and Robert Hoch. 

 Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Marguerite “Micki” E. Swierczewski to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
