Margaret A. Nan Wadsworth, 81, of Reading, passed away Sunday, December 28th at 8:50 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Friday.
She was transferred there from Hearthstone at Maidencreek Assisted Living, where she been a patient for four years.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James Gallagher and Margaret (Gehret) Gallagher, and widow of Frank Sanocki, who passed away in 1981 and Darvin Mickey Wadsworth, who passed away in 1997.
She was a 1945 graduate of Central Catholic High School, and a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading, where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister.
She worked as a cashier for Ciotti's market and Pathmark for 12 years, retiring in 1993.
She is survived by sons: Frank Sanocki of Myrtle Beach, Michael Sanocki of Fleetwood, James Sanocki of Wernersville, and David Sanocki of Waynesboro.
There are also ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is also survived by step sons: Barry and Richard Wadsworth of Earlville; and step daughters: Donna Longenberger of Gilbertsville and Jo Louise Smith of Bayonne, NJ; and step grandchildren.
She is also survived by a brother: James Gallagher of Sinking Spring and Sister: Catharine Walters of Washington.
