Margaret Hart

Margaret M. (nee Schweitzer) Hart, 93, a resident of Hyde Park for 66 years, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 4:40 p.m. at Manor Care Laureldale, where she had been a patient for one month.

Born in Gibraltar, Berks County, she was the daughter of Sally (Rothenberger) Schweitzer, and the widow of Harry W. Hart, who passed away on April 29, 1997.

She worked as a Seamstress for Talbott Knitting Mills in Reading for 22 years, retiring in March of 1981. She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church.

For 20 years, Margaret enjoyed fishing with her husband, her son, and his wife on their boat at the Delaware Bay.

She is survived by her son: Larry H. Hart, husband of Patricia A. Hart of Pottstown; and her daughter: Marlene J. (Hart), wife of Karl H. Fisher Jr. of Alsace Twp.

There are also two grandchildren: Daniel K., husband of Theresa Fisher of Alsace Twp., and Stefanie L. (Fisher), wife of William Viola of Perkasie, PA; and four great grandchildren: Noah, Aaron, Dean, and Ava.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by sisters: Sarah Maurer and Emma Stine.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in Margaret's memory.
