Margaret Connolly

Margaret E. (Fierro) Connolly, of Reading, passed away Sunday, June 7th at 5:20 a.m. at the Mifflin Center in Shillington, where she had been a patient for 3 1/2 years.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Fierro and Anna S. (Schultz) Fierro, and widow of the late Paul A. Connolly, who passed away in 1972.

She worked as a manager for Canteen Corp. of Reading for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She was a hard working yet good natured person.

She is survived by her loving children: Terence A. Caretti of Kenhorst, and Patricia A. Caretti of Reading.

There are also five loving grandchildren: Matthew, Erin, Emily, Jared, and Chad; and two loving great grand daughters: Quinlan and Allister.

She is also survived by her sister: Dorothy (FIerro) Snyder of Reading, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son: Michael A. Caretti, who passed away on January 30, 2009; sisters: Antonietta (Fierro) Spatz and Barbara A. (Fierro) Thomas, and a brother: Dominic Fierro.

Her life was her family and friends.
