Malazina S. DeLong, 76, of Wyomissing, passed away on March 5, 2016 at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Dorothy J. (Woomer) Snyder.
Malazina was employed as a home economics teacher at the Schuylkill Valley School District and the Reading School District. She was a very active member of the Wyomissing Junior League, Mother's Voice Program, the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, and Bausman Memorial UCC. Malazina was the original life guard and swimming instructor at Northwest Swimming Pool in Reading.
She was predeceased by her brother: James P. Snyder.
She is survived by her husband: David D. DeLong, Children: William D. Delong, husband of Dina of Wyomissing and David S. DeLong and daughter Savana Delong.
Services will be private. Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory of Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements
