Mae Kutz

Mae K. Kutz, 88, formerly of Reading, passed away August 8, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Hospital where she was a patient for 5 days. She was the wife of Thomas W. Kutz who passed away January 5, 2000. Born in Shartlesville on February 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Mabel L. (Epting) Kunkelman.

Mrs. Kutz was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School and a 1940 graduate of the former Helen M. Hoffman Secretarial School for Girls. She was employed as a secretary for Judge W. Richard Eshelman for 15 years retiring December 31, 1989. Mae was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. She enjoyed restoring antiques, playing Bridge, traveling and being in the company of family and dear friends.

Surviving are a son Thomas C. Kutz husband of Cathy Kutz of Frederick, MD, a daughter Elizabeth M. Kutz of Reading, and 2 grandchildren Dennis M. Moyer, Jr. and Christiana H. Kutz.
