Mae Gerhart

Mae. E. Gerhart, 106, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph F. Gerhart. Born in Fleetwood, she was the daughter of the late Theodore M. and Anna B. (Luckenbill) Schlegel.

Mae was a graduate of Reading High School Class of 1934. During her life, she was a legal secretary for Berks County Law Journal, retiring in 1978. Mae was very active in her church. She was a member of Community U.C.C of St. Lawrence and was their financial secretary for many years.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Renee, M. Neiman, wife of Thomas H., of Pottstown,; grandchildren, Gregory T. Neiman, husband of Nicole M. , Perkiomenville, PA; Nicole M. (Niki) Brennan, wife of Jeremy, of Shillington; Michael J. Neiman, of Pottstown; and great-grandchildren, Collin G. Neiman, Ashlyn M. Neiman, Alayna M. Brennan, Connor J. Brennan, and McKenna E. Brennan.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 1605 Rockland Street Reading, PA 19604 on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00-11:00am.
