Mabel Hill

Mabel E. Hill, 85, formerly of Leesport, passed away September 17, 2010 at 6:44 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township where she resided for 2 years. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Hill who passed away May 15, 2002. Born in Mohrsville, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Sallie(Roth)Borkey. Mrs. Hill was a supervisor for Cinderella Knitting Mills, later known as Dawson, in Leesport from 1944-1990. She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity in Leesport. She is survived by her sister Fern wife of William Kershner of Mohrsville along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Helen Borkey, Stella Henn, Alice Strausser, Sara Shellong, Emma L. Ernst, Calvin, Floyd, Charles, Earl, Daniel Borkey.
