Mabel Frantz

Mabel I. Frantz, 93, of Reading, passed away November 27, 2010 at 9:10 AM in ManorCare Health Services in Laureldale where she resided for 3 weeks. She was the wife of Earl B. Frantz who passed away March 25, 1996. Born in Reading on August 26, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Estelle (Stump) Englehart.

Mabel served in the WACS during World War 2. She was employed for 12 years in the dietary department of Coatesville Hospital until she retired in 1973. Mrs. Frantz was a member of St. Mark's UCC in Reading.

Surviving are a step son Earl L. Frantz husband of Eleanor Frantz of Fleetwood; 2 step daughters Dolores (Frantz) widow of Edward Hosler of Muhlenberg Twp. and Janet (Frantz) wife of John Lightcap of Silver Springs, FL, 12 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
