Lynn Lausch

January 13, 1932 — November 5, 2017

Lynn V. Lausch, 85, of Arcadia, Cumru Twp., died Sunday morning in his residence after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Betty J. (Fies) Lausch to whom he was married for 66 years.They met on the beach in Atlantic City in 1951 while vacationing.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late LaVerne and Margaret (Leininger) Lausch.
He was employed for 15 years with Sears as a hard lines manager and regional setup executive and for 28 years as a Real Estate Marketing Manager with Berks Homes and RE/MAX of Reading. In the late 1990's he was a founding partner of Lauchak Associates a commercial construction company.
Lynn was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Shillington and of Chandler Lodge 227 F&AM.
Lynn had a love of life and spending time with his family and friends. He was a car, motorcycle and boating enthusiast his entire life. Listening to jazz music and dancing were two of his favorite pastimes. He was a positive and talented man who always welcomed a challenge.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Barry L. Lausch - husband of Marsha (Groff) Lausch of Ephrata; and three grandsons, Jesse, Thomas, and Ryan.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Garry L. Lausch in May of 1981; and by a brother, Kenneth L. Lausch, and a sister, Arlene V. Lausch.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
