Lyle F. "Deac" Hilton, 96, of Country Meadows at Wyomissing, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 9:31 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. He was the husband of the late Josephine A. (Kreider) Hilton who passed away November 16, 2010. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, Mr. Hilton was the son of the late Leslie L. and Hazel (Lawyer) Hilton. He was a graduate of Dickinson Law School and served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Hilton was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ in Reading and was a lawyer, most recently, for Leiberman & Rothstein in Wyomissing for 15 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the choir at Calvary United Church of Christ and Country Meadows of Wyomissing; a member of Womelsdorf VFW and a member of Berks County Bar Association. Mr. Hilton is survived by his sons David L. Hilton, husband of Mary Giammona, MD of Los Angles, California and John L. Hilton of Covington, Virginia along with his granddaughter Regina Sirko, wife of Matthew Sirko. Also surviving is his brother Corwin E. Hilton of Milton, Wisconsin; goddaughter Barbara Jefferis, close family friend Nancy Wunderly, wife of Mike Wunderly and special friend Nancy Perry and her extended family.
