Luke W. Dundore, 86, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Country Meadows, Wyomissing. Luke was the loving husband to Diana Faye (Klepper) for over 58 years before her passing on June 26, 2020. Born in Quentin, PA, Luke was the son of the late Elmer Dundore and Iva (Binner) Dundore and a graduate of Cornwall High School, Class of ‘57. He was a proud servicemember of the United States Air Force before his employment of 25 plus years at Met-Ed from where he retired in 1994. Luke lived a service-centered life highlighted by his active membership at West Lawn United Methodist Church and a long-time volunteer of Wilson School District’s drafting and shop classes.
Luke is survived by his daughters, Lisa Latham, of Cincinnati OH, Tabitha Hoppman, of Sinking Spring, his grandchildren, Michael Latham, Sarah Latham, and Megan Hoppman and Elvin Dundore (Sporting Hill) and Lucille Dundore (Palmyra).
In addition to his parents and wife Faye, Luke is predeceased by his siblings Harold, Raymond, Paul, Earl, Christian, Samuel, Allan, Ellen Snyder, Violet Kimmel, and Arlene Wagner.
A memorial service for Luke will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00AM in West Lawn United Methodist Church, 15 Woodside Ave. Reading, PA 19609. The family will receive relatives and guests in West Lawn UMC from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Graveside service for Luke will be private.
