Lucy Mountz

Lucy A. Mountz (Lonaberger), 84, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in her residence in Cumru Township. Born in Reading, Lucy was the daughter of the late Leroy W. Lonaberger and Nellie L. Dieter. She enjoyed gardening and canning in her free time, as well as spending time with her loving family. Lucy also enjoyed camping, taking road trips, and especially loved dachshunds. She worked as a laborer and operator at Industrial Abrasives for over 17 years.
Lucy is survived by her two sons; Brian L. Mountz, husband of Patti of Terre Hill, PA, and Jeffrey R. Mountz, husband of Mary of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Nicole Renee & Jared Robert, and three siblings; Edron Lonaberger, Willard Lonaberger, and Faith Allwein. Predeceasing Lucy are her 6 siblings; Robert, James, Margaret Pfautz, Jack, Leon and Mary Lou Trexler.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave, Shillington, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Inurnment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Saturday 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to defer funeral expenses for the family.
