Lucille Meyer

Lucille E. Meyer, 94, formerly of West Lawn, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 7:31 pm in Mifflin Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick E. Meyer who passed away November 25, 2003. Born in Lancaster County, Mrs. Meyer was the daughter of the late Ivan and Anna (Baker) Hertzog. She was s 1941 graduate of Mohnton High School and a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church in Mohnton. Mrs. Meyer is survived by her nieces Deborah A. Gehlen of Land O Lakes, Florida and Patricia Thomas of Parrish, Florida and her grand niece Natalie Farina of Orlando, Florida. She was preceded in death by her brother Baker Hertzog, husband of the late Dorothy L. Hertzog and her brother in law Arthur L. Meyer, husband of Virginia Meyer of South Carolina.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Robert W. Shuey will officiate. Entombment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, 57 North Church Street, Mohnton, PA 19540 in memory of Mrs. Lucille E. Meyer.
