Lucille M. (Diefenderfer) Kring, 77, of West Lawn, passed away Wednesday, June 17th, at 8:03 p.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Monday. She previously resided at Mifflin Center for 2 1/2 years.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Russell A. Diefenderfer and Mary D. (Moyer) Diefenderfer, and widow of the late John S. Kring, who passed away April 2, 2007.
She was a 1949 graduate of Shillington High School, and also graduated from Reading Business Institute.
She worked for Glidden Co. in Readng for 13 years and in Civil Service for MSTS in Japan for 2 years, last working in 1966. She was a member of Allegheny Lutheran Church in Mohnton, PA.
She is survived by sister in laws: Mildred (Fritz) Fitterling of Denver, PA; Arlene (Kring) Slabach of Lititz, PA; and a brother in law: Harry J. Kring of Mohnton.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by a son: David A. Kring, who passed away in 2005; sister in law: Kathryn (Kring) Fichthorn, who passed away in 1980, and a brother in law: Marvin K. Kring Sr., who passed away in 2005.
