Lori Kata

Lori Lynn Kata, 40, of Womelsdorf, passed away March 29, 2011. Born in Amityville, NY on November 25, 1970, she was the daughter of Virginia L. (Crist) Kata of Summerfield, FL and the late Stanley Stephen Kata.

Lori was a 1988 graduate of Lindenhurst High School, received a BA from SUNY at Stony Brook, NY in 1996, received a Masters Degree in Art History in 2003 and her PHD in 2009 both from Bryn Mawr College.

Lori is survived by her fiancAC. Kel M. Hatt, with whom she resided; 5 siblings Deb Gurman wife of Fred of Greenfields; Denise Vogeney wife of Norman of Summerfield, FL; Ellen Auger wife of Al of Conifer, CO; Pete Kata husband of Maria of Ronkonkoma, NY and Stephen Kata of Anderson, IN; 8 nieces, 3 nephews 1 great niece and 3 great nephews. Also surviving are her 3 cats Stinker, Abby and Minnie, 3 dogs Chance, Lucky and Lady and a bird Isaac.
