Loretta F. (Swierczewski) Greely

Loretta F. (Swierczewski) Greely, 90, of Exeter Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in her residence. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Verna (Pelka) and Edmund J. Swierczewski. She was the loving wife of the late William H. Greely, who passed away in 2006. Loretta graduated from Reading High School and worked in retail sales at Sears for many years. She was a member of St. Catharine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church. Loretta loved to travel with her family. Due to her husband’s career in the United States Air Force, they lived in many different places like England, Germany, Arizonia, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Delaware. She enjoyed going to casinos, especially Atlantic City with her husband and the Morgantown, Poconos and Las Vegas casinos with her son and daughter-in-law. Loretta carried on her Polish heritage by making traditional Polish food.

 Loretta is survived by her sons, William L. Greely, husband of Susan F. of Robesonia, Jeffrey Greely, husband of Linda A. of Shoemakersville, and Thomas Greely, husband of Krista of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Gregg (Katrina), Carrie (Max), Peter, and Johnathan, and great grandchildren, Zoie, Haley, and Marcella. In addition to her husband, William H., Loretta is predeceased by her grandson, Brian, and her brother, Stanley J. Swierczewski.
