Loretta Mcgrath

Loretta M. (Hanlon) McGrath, 81, of Columbia, Maryland, formerly of Kenhorst, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Brighton Gardens of Columbia.

Born in Tamaqua, Schuylkill Co., she was a daughter of the late Russell Hanlon and Beatrice (Foulk) Hanlon. She was the widow of Raymond L. McGrath, who passed away on August 28, 1994.

She worked as a packer for Bachman's in Reading for 28 years, retiring in May of 1989. She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Church in Shillington.

She is survived by her sons: Dennis J. of Catawissa, William R. of Webster, FL; daughters: Loretta A., wife of Mark B. Eckell of Columbia, MD, Darla J., wife of Ron Hawkins of Lake Forest, CA, and Jay M., widow of Rick Rasmussen of Palm Bay, FL.

There are also nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by a sister: Sister Marian Beatrice, and a brother: Russell William Hanlon.
