Lorayn (Seifer) Fischman, 89, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Fischman. They were married on November 14, 1948, last celebrating 68 years together.
She was born in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Samuel and Eva (Wenger) Seifer.
Lori was skilled as a legal secretary, was a top notch homemaker, and a highly accomplished artist, having worked with water colors, pastels, and ceramics.
After putting three daughters through various stages of schooling, she at age 35, decided to attend college at Montclair University. She finished magna cum laude with a degree in English Literature. She was a life member of Hadassah and a member of 1st Mountain Crafters Assc.
She was predeceased by her grandson: Scott Davidson.
She is also survived by three daughters: Sheryl Cook Lawrence, wife of David of Shillington, Lisa Heflin, wife of Ronald of New Market, MD, and Ilene Fischman of Robesonia. There is one grandson, Sean Davidson and one great-grandson, Owen Davidson, and her very close sister-in-law, Phyllis Fischman of Sinking Spring.
