Lois Wensch

Lois Anne (Dallenbach) Wensch died March 3, 2021 at the age of 100 in Wyomissing, PA., formerly of Champaign, Illinois.  She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Dr. Glen Wensch.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis & Emma Dallenbach, and brother, Louis Dallenbach, Jr.  Lois was a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and was briefly a reporter for the Charleston Currier in Charleston, Illinois.  Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Lois was an active member of the Friends of the Champaign Public Library.  She is survived by her children, Patricia Hutchinson (Jamey), Mohnton, PA, Ward Wensch (Karen), Baltimore, MD; granddaughters, Laura Hutchinson, Denver, CO and Rachel Hutchinson, Olympia WA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lois' name can be made to: Animal Rescue League 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.   Interment will be held at a later date in Champaign, Illinois.
