Lois P. Massena

Lois P. Massena, 86, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at Reading Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Charles W. Massena (December 15, 2021). Together they shared over 62 years of marriage.  Born in Whitney, PA, Lois was the daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Stranko) Pavlovcak. Lois was a Registered Nurse and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millersville University.  She held various nursing positions while living in Pittsburgh and in Reading which include working as a Clinical Instructor for the Licensed Practical Nursing program at Reading Area Community College. Some of Lois’ favorite memories come from her membership in Whitfield Garden Club, attending and watching Pittsburgh sports with her family and holiday baking, especially pinwheel cookies. She is survived by her children Jill Riccitelli wife of Aaron of Sinking Spring; Janice Logullo of Sinking Spring; Michael Massena of Whitfield and her five grandchildren Tessa and Emma Logullo and Michael, Natalie, and Mia Riccitelli.  Lois is survived by her sister Joan Broge of Media, PA and her brother Ernie Pavlovcak of East Lake, Ohio.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory 3825 Penn Avenue Sinking Spring on Friday, May 26 2023 at 11:00.  Amy S.
