Lloyd Trumbo, Jr.

Lloyd C. Trumbo, Jr., 71, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2022 in Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Eleanor (Donton) and Lloyd C. Trumbo, Sr.  After high school Lloyd continued his education at Penn State Berks and received a certificate to become a Class A Mechanic.  He was a Maintenance Mechanic for 40 years before his retirement in 2013.  Lloyd loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He enjoyed cooking and baking, making meals for family, trying out new recipes and exploring flavors from around the world.  Lloyd loved to share humorous stories with his children and was proud of each of their accomplishments.

Lloyd is survived by his children, Sean Trumbo, husband of Tracy of Birdsboro, Anthony Trumbo, husband of Elizabeth Zaffarano of San Diego, CA, and Tracie Trumbo, wife of Sean Johnston of Douglassville.  Also surviving, his granddaughter, Andrea Rippert, wife of Mark Rippert, his sister, Karen Wertz of Snow Camp, NC, and his previous wife and friend, Linda Seltzer.  Lloyd is also survived by his nieces Paula Fastrich, Tara Sparrow, Stacey Ballinger, Alissa Dunn and Ava Wertz and his nephews Bobby Staller, Kevin Staller, Jonathan Wertz and Levi Sparrow. Lloyd is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Staller, brother-in-law Allan Wertz and nephew-in-law Jay Sparrow.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Bean Funeral Homes, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township at 12:00pm.  Celebrant Amy Landis to celebrate.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 8th from 11:00 am to 12:00pm in Bean Funeral Homes, Exeter.  Lloyd’s final resting place will be Jacobs Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pine Grove.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Lloyd C.
