Linda J. Miller

Linda J. Miller (Smith), of West Lawn, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at The Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife to Glenn J. Miller for over 51 ½ years of marriage. Born in Pen Argyl, Linda was the daughter of the late William R. Smith, and Ruth E. (Detweiler). Linda was a graduate of Reading Hospital Nursing School, and went on to work as a R.N. at Reading Hospital for 36 years, as well as Reading Hospital Surgical Center for 10 years. 

In addition to her husband Glenn, Linda is survived by her son, Edwin S. Miller, of Philadelphia, and her foster sister, Joan Freed. 

Linda is predeceased by her sister, Violet Crouch. 

Funeral Service for Linda will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring. Pastor Terry Cooney to officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
