Linda Firus

Linda R. Firus, 62, of South Heidelberg Twp., passed away June 26, 2009 at 5:30 PM in ManorCare Health Services, Sinking Spring where she resided since Tuesday. She was the wife of Ewald Firus. Born in Reading on November 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Messner and Dorothy M. (Troxel) Messner of Shillington.

She was a 1964 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. Linda was employed as a planter for 2 years at Robesonia Greenhouse. She was a member of Wyomissing UCC, Gouglersville.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a son Thomas L. Hoffman husband of Stefania Hoffman of Temple, 2 daughters Mary Ann (Hoffman) wife of Robert A. Bieber of Sinking Spring and Jennifer L. (Hoffman) Noviello of Womelsdorf, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 2 brothers Dennis Messner of Shillington and Scott Messner of Robesonia and a sister Carol (Messner) Young of Macungie.
