Lillian Nangle

Lillian L. Nangle, 93, formerly of Reading, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 1:08 pm in the Topton Lutheran Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Nangle who passed away February 8, 1992. Born in Reading, Mrs. Nangle was the daughter of the late Emerson Fisher and Mary(Fritz) Levan and step-father George Levan. She was preceded in death by her daughter Joanne L. Blew, wife of the late Leon E. Blew, who passed away December 26, 2017. Mrs. Nangle is survived by her grandchildren Tammy L. (Blew) Hughes, wife of John K. Hughes, II of Lower Alsace Township and Gregory L. Blew, husband of Anita S. (Spayd) Blew of Sinking Spring and her great grandchildren Ashley, Kristen and Michael Hughes; Justin and Ryan Blew. She was preceded in death by her brother George Levan and her sister Mary Jane Luigard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township, Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Friday 8:45-9:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Mrs. Lillian L. Nangle.
