Lila Shenk

Lila M. Shenk,, 79, of Brecknock Township, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 7:30 pm in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Shenk who passed away January 17, 2006. Born in Kempton she was the daughter of the late Freddie and Lottie(Schwenk) Pauley. He was employed as a factory worker by RM Palmer in Reading for 33 years. Mrs. Shenk is survived by her children Brenda Webb of Altoona; Randy Kunkle of Kutztown; Jeffrey A. Shenk of Reinholds; Richard M. Shenk of Brecknock Township; Terry L. Shenk of Spring Township and Sherry L. Guigley of Brecknock Township along with her 10 grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Monday, October 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Paul L. Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 6-7:00 pm and Monday 12:30-1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave. Reading, PA 19605 in memory of Mrs. Lila M. Shenk.
