Lester Miller

Lester M. Miller, 82, of Reading, passed away January 18, 2010 at 2:42 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Rita M. (Hock) Miller who passed away September 1, 2001. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lester G. and Mary R.(Distasio) Miller. Mr. Miller was the owner of Les Miller Painting and Paperhanging in Reading from 1965-1985 then was a painting contractor for Berkshire Greens, Inc. in Reading for 7 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Joseph RCC and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey M., Sr. husband of Kathryn M. Miller of Fleetwood, Jerry M. husband of Terry A. Miller of Temple, Jack M. husband of Rose G. Miller of Wernersville and James M. husband of Doreen M. Miller of Fleetwood along with his grandchildren Jason M., Jade M., Jessica M., Tricia L., and Jordan M. as well as his great granddaughter, Olivia J. He was preceded in death by his grandson Jeffrey M. Miller, Jr. in 1994.
