Leslie Bailey

Leslie A. "Les" Bailey, 72, of Bern Township, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:20pm while on vacation in Orlando, Florida. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Sobotka) Bailey. Born in Reading, Mr. Bailey was the son of the late John A. and Evelyn M. (Etter) Bailey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey L. Bailey. Les valued tradition and took great pride in his work as the 3rd generation owner/operator of Bailey's Septic Service, Inc. since 1974 (established in 1935). He enjoyed attending car shows and auctions with friends, traveling and spending time with his family and was a member of Skyline Corvette Club. Les would have celebrated 50 years of marriage to his wife, Patricia, on Saturday, May 28th. In addition to his wife, Patricia, Mr. Bailey is survived by his two sons: Todd M. Bailey, husband of Stephanie L. Bailey of Sinking Spring and Scott A. Bailey, husband of Angelique B. Bailey of Muhlenberg Township and four grandchildren: Chloe, Zachary, Bryce and Alexa. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 - 7:30 pm on Friday, May 27, 2016 in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring. Funeral Service will follow visitation in Bean Funeral Home on Friday, May 27, 2016 beginning at 7:30 pm. Reverend Fran Merkel will officiate. Interment will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 West Neversink Road, Exeter Township, on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:00 am.
