Leroy Kline Jr

LeRoy S. Kline Jr., 90, of Phoebe Berks Village and formerly of West Lawn, passed away December 6, 2009 at 10:08 AM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient since November 19th. He was the husband of Josephine (Barr) Kline. Born in Reading on September 17, 1919, he was the son of the late LeRoy S. Kline Sr. and the late Veronica (Blessing) Kline.

He was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School and a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Kline was a 50 year member of Green Valley Country Club. He enjoyed bowling and golfing.

LeRoy was employed as a saleman for Nabisco Corp. for 35 years retiring in 1985.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son David L. Kline and his wife Carol J. Kline of Wyomissing Hills, a daughter JoAnne L. (Kline) Arosell and her husband Douglas Arosell of Houston, TX, 5 grandchildren Chris, Bret, Heather, Matthew & Jason and 3 great grandchildren Brandon, Tyler & Paul.
