Leonard Chandler

Leonard S. Chandler, 75, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at The Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband to his wife, Pamela L. (Keeran) Chandler for over 52 years. Born in Oceanside, New York he was the son of the late Frances Swenson Chandler and Lennart Swenson, and adopted son of William Chandler. Leonard served in the United States Army, and worked as a Q&A Manager for over 29 Years at Hershey Foods before retiring. A hunter, golfer and fisherman, Leonard also enjoyed dealing in antiques and travelling with his family.

In addition to his wife, Leonard is survived by his son, Kevin Jon Chandler, husband of Jodie of Forest, VA, and his daughter, Michelle Hill, wife of Robert Alan, of Islandmagee, Northern Ireland. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jocelyn and Emily Hill, and Cambrie and Jack Chandler, as well as his brother, Fred S. Chandler, of Bellmore NY.

A Celebration of Leonard’s life, will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, on Monday August 23, 2021, at 10:00 AM, Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant to officiate. The family will receive friends and relatives in Bean Funeral Homes on Monday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 3:00 PM, processional to the cemetery will begin to form at 1:00 PM, departing at 1:30PM from 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring.
