Lela Trout

Lela M. Trout, 96, of Lititz, passed away on January 11, 2017 at Luther Acres Manor.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Edith M. (Eben) Deem.
Lela was employed as a Secretary for Industrial Vendomatic. In later years, she was an elected Poll Worker at the Goodwill Fire Company in Hyde Park and a volunteer at the Olivet Boys Club of Reading. She was a member of the Choir and 50 Plus Club at Alsace Lutheran Church. Lela also enjoyed playing pinochle with friends at her card club.
She was predeceased by her husband: LeRoy E. Trout.
She is survived by her children: Rev. Dennis L. Trout, husband of Bonnie J. Myers-Trout of Denver; Dale L. Trout, husband of Linda A. of Ephrata; and Kerry L. Trout, husband of Martha B. of State College. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 1:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:30-1:00PM. The interment will follow the service at Laureldale Cemetery.
