Lee Miller

Lee A. Miller, 77, of Wyomissing Hills, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Lutheran Home at Topton Nursing Care Center.  He was the husband of the late Patricia (Yost) Miller who passed away in 2009 following 40 wonderful years of marriage.    Born in Pottsville, PA. Mr. Miller was the son of the late Dr. Aaron and Harriett (Coleman) Miller.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree and master’s degree in education from Kutztown University.  Mr. Miller began his teaching career at Conrad Weiser High School. After 6 years he moved on to Wilson High School where he taught 8th grade English for 29 years.  For 11 years he served as a coach in football, basketball and baseball at various levels.  Mr. Miller was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, West Lawn and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and vacationing at the Jersey Shore.  Mr. Miller is survived by his son Todd Miller, (Kendra Miller) of Robesonia, his grandson Lucas, his sister Sharon Reiter (John Reiter) of Missoula, Montana, nieces Joanne, Tracy, and Kelly, and nephews Johnnie, Rick and Jeff, as well as his loving companion Karen (Mast) Neri with whom he last resided.  He was preceded in death by his brother Kevin Miller.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Monday, September 12, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Monday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. Lee A.
