Lee G. Grogg Jr.

Lee G. Grogg Jr., 74, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at his home. He was the loving husband to Beverly A. (Lewis) for over 18 years. Born in Pottstown, Lee was the son of the late Lee G. Grogg Sr. and Dorothy M. (Naftzinger). Lee served in the United States Navy and went on to work for Carpenter Technologies for nearly 30 years as a A.O.D. Operator.  Lee was also a Freemason, and was a member of The Teutonia Lodge #367.

 

In addition to his wife Beverly, Lee is survived by his daughter, Traci L. Heffner, wife of Brian of Hamburg, stepdaughter, Tamara L. West, wife of Michael West Jr, of Mohnton, stepson, Brian D. Gehris, husband of Tina, of Shillington, and stepson, Wayne O. Gehris, husband of Kristen, of Wyomissing. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 2 great step-grandchildren. 

Lee is predeceased by his siblings, William Grogg, Thomas Grogg, and Mary Posey. 

A memorial service for Lee will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Shillington on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
