Lawrence Tranovich

Lawrence A. Tranovich, 72, of Reading, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7:32 pm in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Karen R. (Koenig) Tranovich. Born in Reading, Larry was the son of the late Andrew A. and Cecelia (Golembiewski) Tranovich. He was a 1962 graduate of Central Catholic High School and received his bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering as well as his masters degree in business from Penn State University. Larry was a member of Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township and was employed by Trimmaster for 40 years retiring in 2014 as General Manager. In addition to his wife Karen, Larry is survived by his daughter Kirsten E. Bauer, wife of Matthew R. Bauer of Fleetwood and his grandchildren Chase M. and Nina E. Bauer. He is also survived by his brothers Richard D. Tranovich, husband of Nancy Tranovich of Galloway, New Jersey and Andrew F. Tranovich, husband of Mary Tranovich of Carmel, Indiana along with several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 12 Noon. Reverend Monsignor Edward R. Domin, Celebrant. Interment will be held privately by the family in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Thursday 10:30-11:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn, PA 19606 in memory of Mr. Lawrence A. Tranovich.
