Lawrence Gordon Kline

Lawrence Gordon Kline, 88, of Wernersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Phoebe Berks. He was the beloved husband of Joan Elizabeth (Nice) Kline. They were married on March 29, 1963. Together they shared 62 years of marriage.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Marian (Moyer) Kline. Larry was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School. He served proudly in the United States Army Reserve and active duty as a CW4. During his life, he worked for United States Military and in the Federal Civil Service until retiring in 1990. Larry loved to travel, enjoyed fishing and in his earlier years hunting. He was a member of the American Legion in Birdsboro Post 626.

Larry is survived by his wife, Joan Elizabeth Kline, of Wernersville; son, Anthony L. Kline, husband of Sarah Kline of Germany; daughter, Stacy L. Eatough, widow of Michael Eatough, of Middletown, DE; sons, from previous marriage, Greggory Kline and Geoffrey Kline; grandchildren, Aletha, Skylar Kline, Sarah Wright, wife of Lance Wright; and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Phoebe Berks Village 1 Reading Drive Wernersville, PA 19565 on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:30pm. The family will receive relatives and friends in the Chapel at Phoebe Berks Village from 1:30pm-2:30pm.

Funeral Procession will depart Bean Funeral Homes Sinking Spring parking lot at 9:45am on Wednesday March 12, 2025 for Burial with Military Honors to take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Veterans Association of America or any charity of your choice, in memory of Lawrence Gordon Kline.
