Larry Mullen

Larry H. Mullen, 77, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at 7:17 am in Reading Hospital. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Hardee L. and Catherine A. (Snell) Mullen. He was a 1956 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a 1958 graduate of Reading Business Institute. Mr. Mullen served in the United States Army and was a Senior Account Manager at Met Ed for 36 years, retiring in 1994. He is survived by his brother H. Donald Mullen, husband of Karin E. Mullen of Wyomissing and his 2 nieces who reside in Virginia. He enjoyed spending his days with his beloved Greyhounds Addi and Shawnee.
Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 10-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County PO Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540 in memory of Mr. Larry H. Mullen.
