Kenneth B. Hoyer

Kenneth Bruce Hoyer, 76, of Shillington, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at The Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, Kenneth was the son of the late, Adam Henry Hoyer III. and Alice M. (Boone). Kenneth was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and went on to work in the textile industry for over 25 years before working as a Powder Technician for Rohm & Haas for over 17 years before his retirement. Kenny as everyone called him was an avid hunter who enjoyed spending as much time as possible at his mountain house in Perry County. He had a saying for whenever someone visited the cabin "You are in Perry County now, do what you want when you want"

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Tracy N. Shirley, of Philadelphia (John), his grandchildren, Matthew Abrams, husband of Amanda, Samantha Abrams, and Chase Abrams (Erika). He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Juliana, Charlotte, and Ava.

Kenneth is predeceased by his son, Troy Kenneth Hoyer, and his brothers, Gerald L. Hoyer and Adam Henry Hoyer IV.
