Kenneth "Ken" Goodman of Exeter Township, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 12, 2016 at the age of 58.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Debra (Rush) and three children, Matthew, David and Kyle. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Ken was the son of the late Harry and Shirley (Hootstein) Goodman. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Joan), of Southampton, New York and Mark (June) of Hutchinson, Kansas; brother-in-law Richard (Sharo) Rush of Oviedo, Florida and sister-in-law Bernadette (Bill) O'Sullivan of Clarksburg, New Jersey; loving uncle to nieces and nephews, Heather, Julia, Sean, Stephanie, Mark, C.J., Kayleigh and Kerry; beloved dogs Weezer and Bella.
He will be deeply missed and fondly and forever remembered for his sense of humor, kindness to others and loyalty to family and friends.
Ken was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts before moving to Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and later obtained his law degree from Widener University. He was a partner at Rabenold, Koestel, Goodman & Denaro in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania where he primarily focused on personal injury law.
He was a passionate sports fan, particularly rooting for the Red Sox and Patriots. He passed along his love of sports to his three sons, who he coached for many years.
In lieu of a service, a Memorial Celebration of Life open house for family, friends and acquaintances will be held at the Reading Country Club, 5311 Perkiomen Ave., from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 (casual attire).
