Kely Thao

Kely Ker Thao, 43, of Dover, York County, passed away Thursday January 12, 2023 at Wellspan York Hospital.  She was the wife of Nik Phelith Hang.  Born in Laos, Mrs. Thao was the daughter of Vang Chong Thao of Minnesota and the late Shoua Vang.  She was a member of Hmong Community Evangelical Lutheran Church and was employed by Fulton Bank in Lancaster.  In addition to her husband and father Mrs. Thao is survived by her children Keanu Haumxeeb Hang, Matthew Ywjpheej Hang, Eva Nkauj Iab Hang, Nathan Muajhmoo Hang, and her siblings Ga Chue Thao, Der Thao, Nhia Thao, Ku Thao.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington.  Religious Service will begin at 6:00 pm.  On Saturday, January 28, 2023, the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Mellinger’s Union Meeting House & Cemetery, West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County.
