Kathy Hess

Kathy A. Hess, 56, of Exeter Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient for two days.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Bob Garber of Atlanta, GA and Kathleen Wells of Palmyra, PA. She was the wife of Daniel L. Hess.

She worked as a Home Health Aide for Comfort Keepers, and previously worked in the baking department of Maiers Bakery in Reading. She was a member of Harvest Fellowship Church in Stevens, PA and attended Morningstar Fellowship Church, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and involved in church activities. She also enjoyed making floral arrangements.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Wendy Boud of Schuylkill Haven, Rick Monyer of Stevens, PA, Nathan Monyer of Sinking Spring, and Jodi Monyer of Sinking Spring.

There are also twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters: Debra Tait of Reinholds, Jill Wagner of Lingelstown, and Gaylene Webber of Lawn, PA.
