Kathryn Orrs

Kathryn A. Orrs, 88, of Shillington, and a resident of Manor Care, Sinking Spring for 2 A½ years, passed away March 14, 2016 in the Reading Hospital.
She was the wife of James H. Orrs; together they celebrated 29 years of marriage. She was predeceased by her first husband Benjamin Nardo in 1978.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Hauser) Yohe.
Mrs. Orrs was employed at the Berks County Court House working in clerical office duties for 18 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of West Lawn Senior Center.
Surviving in addition to her husband James, are children Kathleen Moore, wife of David Blandon; Judy Burritt, wife of William, Reading; four grandchildren, Christopher Carr, Danielle Black, Tiffany Russell, and Andrew Moore; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Rosemary Scagnelli; step son James W. Orrs; two grandsons; one great grandson; two sisters and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Orr's memory to One by One Cat Rescue: P.O. Box 272, Temple, PA 19560.
Services will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, Friday March 18, 2016 at 11:00am. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends 10:00-11:00am.
