Kathryn M. "Kacky" Nonnemacher

Kathryn M. “Kacky” Nonnemacher, 93, of Sinking Spring, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 12:12 am at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Donald R. “Nonnie” Nonnemacher who passed away March 2005. Born in Fritztown, Mrs. Nonnemacher was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel (Ulrich) Buchter. She was a graduate of Wernersville High School and was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sinking Spring. Mr. and Mrs. Nonnemacher were the owners of Nonnemacher’s Meat Market in Sinking Spring. She was a manager in the cafeteria at Wilson High School. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, crossword puzzles and playing scrabble. Mrs. Nonnemacher is survived by her daughters Phyllis A. Wolf wife of Jeffrey N. Wolf of Denver, PA and Denise K. Shearer of Sinking Spring and her grandson Steven S. Shearer partner of Shelby Bieber and her great grandchildren Chloe K. and Miles M. Shearer. Also surviving are her sisters Alberta Fisher of Exeter Township and Fay Moyer of Cumru Township. Mrs. Nonnemacher was preceded in death by her sisters Betty Kindt and Shirley Strunk, and step-brother Larry Buchter. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate. Interment will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 4125 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 in memory of Mrs. Kathryn M. Nonnemacher.
