Kathleen M. Hause

Kathleen M. (Cieniewicz) Hause, 73, of Mohnton, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at The Heritage, Health Care Center. She was the loving wife to Allen P. Hause, for over 51 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Kathleen was the daughter of the late, Edward Cieniewicz and Helen (Pietruszynski). Kathleen was a graduate of Holy Name High School, Reading, class of 1969 and of Alvernia University, achieving her BSN, and went on to work as a Registered Nurse, for over 47 years at St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

Family was everything to Kathy, and she poured her love and devotion into every moment spent with them. Kathy cherished summers in Cape May, creating joyful memories with her family by the shore. She found solace and connection with her friends in Lily Dale, NY, embracing nature and community, where she shared her passion for holistic practices, always seeking to uplift those around her. Her warmth, contagious laughter, and words of wisdom will be profoundly missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished moments that will forever remain in our hearts.

In addition to her husband Allen, Kathleen is survived by her children, Scott A. Hause, husband of Kami (Albrecht), of Lenhartsville, Jessica A. Riedel, wife of Jeffrey of Philadelphia, and her 3 grandchildren, Logan, Owen, Brycen. She is also survived by her siblings, Greg Hardy, Paul Cieniewicz, Monsignor Donald Cieniewicz, John Cieniewicz, and Marie Schweitzer.
