Katherine Elizabeth (Hoffman) Schlaybach
It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine Schlaybach announces her passing on July 10 at the age of 95 years. Known to her friends as Kass, she was married to the late Robert L. Schlaybach for 61 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Barbara Stankiewicz and Robert (Patricia) and her step-daughter Roberta (Philip) Scott. She will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Cindy, Kevin, Michele and Keith, her seven great-grandchildren and extended family.
Kass had a deep love for her family. She was adored for her delicious Pennsylvania Dutch cooking keen card playing and feisty sense of humor.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, July 14, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
