Karson W. Albert, 93, of Spring Twp., passed away on March 9, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Edith (Palmer) Albert.
Mr. Albert was a WWII veteran, proudly serving as a 3rd engineer in the Merchant Marines. He was a graduate of Moravian College, where he received a BS degree in Medicine. He went on to be employed as a Pharmaceutical Salesman for GlaxoSmithKline and the Drug House of Harrisburg.
Karson enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, and fishing. In his spare time he enjoyed raising orchids and reading. He was an avid golfer and Penn State football fan.
He was predeceased by his brother: Vernon Albert
He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth C. (Mayes) Albert, Children: Eric K. Albert, husband of Barbara, of Williamsport, Holly E. Hepworth, wife of Jonathan of Standish, Michigan, and Roberta L. (Albert)Conrad of Wernersville. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Michael, Rebecca, and Jason Albert, Erin, Nathan, and Laura Hepworth, and Tiffany Conrad Knarr, great-grandchildren: Sydney, Reese, and Layla Knarr.
Memorial Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11:00AM.
