Karen Brown, 53, of Katy, Texas, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 18th in Shillington at her mother's residence. She was the wife of Charles E. Brown of Missouri City, Texas. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Karen was the daughter of Sheila A. Bain and the late Thomas Bain of Shillington. Karen was an insurance broker and owner of Kbig LLC, in Houston, Texas. Karen was known for her huge heart, spending a lot of time helping charities like the NFL alumni and the 100 Club for fallen police officers and firefighters families. In addition to her husband and mother, Karen is survived by her daughter Madison Ray Brown and her step son Chad Brown, both of Houston , Texas. She is also survived by her sisters Linda A. White of Houston, Texas, Jacqueline Trapp, wife of Michael Trapp of Sinking Spring, and brother Thomas A. Bain of Shillington. She also left behind many wonderful and loving nieces, nephews, family and amazing and lasting friendships.
