June L. Lee, 90, of Exeter Twp., peacefully passed into eternity on Sunday evening, October 15, 2017 in Berkshire Center, Exeter Twp. She was the wife of Robert E. Lee. They were married May 1, 1948 and enjoyed being together for 69 years.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Elmer L. and Sara (Berstler) Ermold.
June graduated from Reading High School in 1945. For several years she was employed in food service at Exeter Twp. Junior High School. In 1996 she retired from Christar Missions in Reading.
June began playing piano for various services in the church she attended while in high school. She later went on to serve as a faithful organist and choir pianist for Grace Bible Fellowship Church and was heavily involved in the ministry of music program.
She was most hospitable as she entertained so many friends and family at home, was an avid gardener and the best wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for whom anyone could ask.
In addition to her husband, June is survived by two daughters: Cynthia, wife of William Grimm of North Carolina, and Rebecca, wife of Thomas Pollock of Minnesota; two grandchildren: Christopher Pollock, husband of Lyndsi, and Jennifer, wife of Daniel Radler. There are four surviving great-grandchildren: Sarah, Ethan, Kaeden and Everett Pollock.
Predeceased by a younger brother, David, June is also survived by two younger sisters, Esther and Dorothy and a younger brother, James.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the Berkshire Center chapel. Burial, through Bean Funeral Home, will be private at the convenience of the family.
